DRIVING LICENSE CLASS B

We advise you all around the driving license class B: manual and automatic transmission.

You can start the training six months before your 17th (accompanied driving) or 18th birthday.

Our theory lessons in German or English take place on three weekends: 3 x Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, plus one Monday evening. Each session is three hours long and covers two topics. Thus you can complete the mandatory 14 x 90 minutes classroom lessons in a time efficient way.

There is study material available to accompany you through the theory lessons and the practical training and the official test questions to study for the theory test. You can purchase them in our office in German, English, and 10 other languages.

For efficient learning we suggest to intertwine the theory and practice lessons. You can start the driving lessons before, during or after the theory course. Starting point is our Fahrschule in Heßstraße. Thus you are going to drive in the test area and get to know it well. You will learn, practice and apply all relevant traffic rules and behavior patterns and will thus be best prepared for the practical test.

The 12 mandatory so called “Sonderfahrten” for more advanced driving have to be done towards the end of the practical training.

Mandatory are:

  • 5 x 45 min. country road
  • 4 x 45 min. autobahn
  • 3 x 45 min. in dusk and dark

Please book driving lessons either directly with the driving instructor or in the office. It is advisable to plan and book well in advance!

Driving lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to two working days before the appointment.

Having passed the theory test you can book the practical test in consultation with your driving instructor.
